Part 1: All Aboard

We are introduced to Japanese culture and how people board the bullet train every day. They have super tight security and strict protocols to ensure that everyone is safe on the train. The train is moving to Tokyo from Shin Amori Station. The train has social media influencers, businessmen, politicians, and school kids.

Just after few minutes we were informed that the train had been compromised and if it slowed down less than 100 km/ hr, the entire train would explode. This message is made public on social media and also shows the exact locations where the bombs have been placed on the train. All government officials and the train control room gather together to troubleshoot the issue.

Part 2: The Ask

Af first, the terrorist demands 100 million yen. The government says that they don’t negotiate with terrorists, and the bomber shows a live explosion of a cargo train. The same bombs are placed in the bullet train too, which is known as Hyabusa 60. The terrorists say that they are not playing around. At this point, the social media influencer opens a website and asks people to donate money so that they can be saved.

Meanwhile, the train control room sends equipment to disable the train gears, so that the train maintains a speed above 100 km/hr at all times. A rescue bullet train is also sent so that the maximum number of passengers can be saved. They are successful, and 200 lives are saved. Only 7 people could not make the rescue train since the medium used as a passage to transfer the passengers broke down.

Part 3: The actual culprit

Turns out that the actual culprit is a 16-year-old girl. The girl was mentally abused by his father. The father always wanted a boy and treated the girl as a burden. She did all this to prove that she is not a nobody but a highly intelligent kid who could make and break Japan whenever she chooses.

Should you watch it

No, because the story has a lot of loopholes. A mentally abused kid taking revenge on his father but risking the innocent lives seems like no no-brainer. But if you are someone who loves VFX and high-octane scenes, this movie has plenty to offer
