Part 1: A Painful Past Leads Him Into Bangkok’s Criminal Underworld

The story begins with Shivam (played by Emraan Hashmi) visiting the grave of his former lover, Alia. The dates on the grave read 1984–2007, hinting at the painful past he has carried for years. While leaving the graveyard, he finds a little girl crying alone. He takes her to an orphanage and makes sure she gets adopted. He names the girl Alia, after the woman he once loved.
Years later, Shivam is living a quiet and emotionally broken life. His criminal past is behind him until an Interpol officer arrives with shocking news. Alia’s adoptive parents have died, and they weren’t actually loving parents; they were child traffickers who sold young girls across Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangkok.
Emraan agrees to help Interpol find Alia and bring down the trafficking network.
His investigation takes him to Bangkok, where powerful criminal figures Amrit Singh (played by Barun Chanda) and Nafisa Nawaz (played by Shabana Azmi) operate their networks. Amrit Singh has three sons: Zorawar (played by Puran Gabbi) , the youngest and a drug addict; Sikhandar (played by Aniruddh Rawal) who is autistic; and Zara (played by Disha Patani), a violin player.
Zorawar is also involved in the family’s child-trafficking operation, giving Shivam the perfect reason to get close to them and infiltrate their network. But things quickly turn violent. Amrit Singh is killed by Zorawar, who believes his father has failed the family. During the funeral, a rival gang launches an attack, forcing Zorawar, Sikhandar and Zoya to escape together.
They eventually find a taxi, only to discover that their driver is none other than Shivam
After getting them safely to a hideout, Emraan’s combat and shooting skills leave a strong impression on Zorawar. He begins to see this mysterious stranger as someone who could become part of their family. For Emraan, however, getting close to this family is all part of the plan: he needs to find Alia.
Part 2: The Mission Gets Personal

Zorawar is impressed by Shivam and decides to recruit him permanently. He gives him a dangerous first assignment: find Omar, Nafisa head of security, kill him and bring back his head. If Shivam succeeds, Zorawar promises to make him his new head of security.
Shivam completes the job and earns Zorawar’s trust. But Zorawar soon reveals another problem. Someone inside his organisation is secretly sharing information with Nafisa, and he wants Shivam to find the traitor.
The investigation leads to an unexpected person: Zara, the violin player who has always tried to stay away from the family’s criminal business. She has been secretly communicating with Nafisa, but her intention isn’t to betray her family. She is trying to protect Zorawar and the rest of her family from the dangerous world they are trapped in.
Just before the interval, Emraan confronts Zara. He reveals that he knows what her brother is involved in child trafficking and makes it clear that he won’t abandon his mission until he gets to the bottom of the entire operation.
Emraan then reports to Zorawar that he has identified another suspected mole: Mehmood (played by Vijayant Kohli) a man who has worked with Amrit Singh for 25 years. He claims Mehmood has been secretly siphoning money from the family’s accounts and transferring it to offshore accounts.Mehmood desperately denies the accusation, insisting that the entire story has been orchestrated by Shivam.
But nobody believes him. Before he can prove his innocence, Mehmood is shot directly in the head. And just like that, Shivam’s plan moves one step closer to its real target.
Part 3: Zoya’s Secret and Shivam’s Miraculous Escape

Part three begins with Zara and Shivam sitting together, where Zoya finally reveals the painful truth about her family. She tells Shivam that Zorawar was the one who ratted out their mother when she wanted to escape their criminal world. He told their father about her plans, and the situation eventually led to their mother’s suicide. This trauma continues to haunt Zoya.
Zoya also explains why she has secretly been working with Nafisa. She wants to escape the family’s drug business, but she also wants to protect Zorawar. With Amrit Singh dead, Nafisa is now the other major drug lord fighting for control. Zoya knows that Nafisa could eventually come after Zorawar, which is why she has been secretly sharing information with her.
Meanwhile, Zorawar discovers that Shivam is the mole working for Interpol . He orders him to kill the Interpol officer (played by Atul Kumar) who has been secretly giving him information. Shivam refuses. Jaideep, Zorawar’s right-hand man, kills the officer and severely injures Shivam, making it appear that Shivam committed the murder.
Shivam is thrown into a Bangkok prison and brutally tortured. He repeatedly tells the police that he works for Interpol and that the taxi he was driving had been provided to him by an Interpol officer. When the supposed taxi driver is brought in, he completely denies knowing Shivam. He says he isn’t a taxi driver at all he is an ambulance worker and claims he doesn’t even know what Interpol is.
But this is actually the secret plan.“Ambulance” is the code to get Shivam out.
Shivam starts a fight inside the prison and eventually makes his way into the ambulance. He escapes, but the Bangkok police catch him again. Just when he loses all hope of getting away, nearly 50 Bangkok monks suddenly surround him and create a human shield, leading him safely away from the police.
As “Tera Mera Rishta” plays in the background, the scene takes on a deeper meaning: a man who doesn’t believe in God is protected when he has nowhere else to turn. It’s easily one of the most beautiful and meaningful sequences of the film.
This isn’t just an escape sequence, it feels like divine intervention, and it becomes one of the most memorable moments of the film.
Part 4: The Cycle Comes Full Circle

Shivam finally reaches Nafisa’s hideout, where he makes a deal with her. He asks Nafisa to free the children trapped in the trafficking network. In return, she tells him that he must become her slave for the rest of his life.
Shivam agrees.
He goes back and frees the trafficked children, but the moment he does, a massive confrontation breaks out between him and Zorawar. The fight reaches its climax, and Zorawar is eventually killed. With Zorawar gone, Shivam’s journey comes to an ironic end. He was once a slave to Malik, and now he has become a slave to Nafisa.
The film closes on that idea. the cycle hasn’t really been broken. The master has simply changed.
Final Verdict: An Average Watch

I wouldn’t call this film a flop. It is an okay, average entertainer with enough action, twists and interesting characters to keep you watching. The storyline works, but it is also fairly predictable, and some of the emotional beats could have been much stronger.
My biggest problem was Zorawar’s character. The performance tries very hard to make him look unpredictable and eccentric. He acts overly cool, behaves strangely and even breaks into funny dances when he’s angry. But instead of creating fear or sending a chill down your spine, some of these moments feel exaggerated.
The character had plenty of potential, but the writing and performance could have made him much more threatening.Overall, the film is watchable but not unforgettable. The concept works, the action delivers in places, and the final twist about Shivam becoming another person’s slave is interesting. But with a stronger Zorawar and a less predictable storyline, this could have been much better.
