Freelancers, beware of such low-life clients
In July, I met a client in a Facebook group who operated with a fake name known as Priya Singh. She told me to get connected on WhatsApp, and I did as asked. Here is the screenshot as proof.

Her Fb link: Priya Singh
Once we started the conversation, she told me that she releases payment after a writer completes 10,000 words, and I thought, Okay may maybe she works in this process. Since I follow some protocols too. This is the time when I got to know that her name is Sameer.
Note : The way she started the whatsapp conversation i knew that i was talking to a guy so thats why you would see that i am calling him sir before he said his name.
After this, I asked for
- for credentials
- for a contract
- for his company name

He told me that he works for ATS Infotech. I checked out the company, and I couldn’t find him in the employee list. Then I pressed further for clarification, and he got defensive and paranoid. He got exposed, and the game was over there.

Then I made sure he got a taste of his own medicine and directly went all out with profanity.

Scammer’s Number mentioned in the photo

Takeaway for freelancers
- If anybody operates with a fake name, don’t indulge at all.
- Always verify client details based on your research and investigation.
- Walk away if the client doesn’t show transparency.
Our craft takes a high amount of mental energy and talent. So don’t let scammers take advantage of it.
Ats Infotech, if someone is using your name, please take note of this
This is a masterpiece of clarity.
I’ve fallen victim to clients with fake profiles before, it’s great that you’re raising awareness about this issue, which aligns with some of the data I saw on https://tinyfun.io/game/labubu-clicker.
