Though people criticized him for missing his opening match, Screen Saga believes this was an incredible show of parenthood. His motto is family first and we respect that. Athiya Shetty delivered her newborn on March 24, 2025, and according to sources from Pink Villa though he was not present during her hospitalization but made sure that he was present during her delivery. Though he missed his debut match, he compensated for that by remaining unbeaten in 93 held at M. Chinnaswamy stadium against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

March 24.2025 is the day when the internet froze for a few seconds when she announced the arrival of a baby girl on the internet.
