Dupatta Killer Review : A Guy with 16 murders is about to get bail? Will he be free?

Part 1 :
The scene begins in a popular market in Goa, where we see a strange man approaching an aged female vegetable seller and starts talking to her daughter. Later, he forms a romantic relationship with her and kills her. He is known as Mahanand Naik, who has killed 16 girls in Goa via strangulation and sexual intercourse.
Part 2:
We are given the backdrop of this serial killer who killed from 1993 to 1998, and then he stopped because he got married. Then again in 2003 after his divorce he started killing till 2008 while constantly raping a minor who was introduced by her wife in her dance class.
All his victims was first raped and then stranguled to death. Each of the victims wanted to marry him. The police finally gets hold of Mahanand when the minor comes forward for her rape abuse and he gets caught. He was also caught in 2005 in the Yogita Naik case, but due to little or no evidence, he was set free.
Part 3 :
Mahanand confesses all her crimes and names every victim to the police and shows all the crime scenes. He was sent to jail in 2009. In 2023, he is given a payroll to live back in society for 3 months. The killer had an impeccable relationship with the police and authority, making them believe that he was a changed man.
In 2025 he is scheduled for full realise. Will the high court of Goa allow him go ? Or he will back in jail or time will know.
Should you watch it?
Yes. This is a crime documentary that has good storytelling. The sequence of crimes is well recorded, and you won’t find any gaps or loopholes in the storyline. This is a 60-minute film and keeps you hooked till the end. It’s streaming on DocuBay
